Southfield Elementary School switching to virtual learning through December 4th

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Another Bibb County school will begin virtual learning Monday because of COVID-19.

According to an email from the Bibb County School District, students and staff at Southfield Elementary School will be learning from home through Friday, December 4th. The email went on to say that calls have been made to notify those staff and students identified as close contacts.

Curbside meal service will be held at Southfield Elementary Monday and students can find their meal order forms in Classlink.

Students who are taking part in face-to-face learning can return to school Monday, December 7th.
