Two people shot in Central City Park, deputies looking for suspects
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were taken to the hospital after being shot in Central City Park Sunday night.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a large crowd was partying in the area just before 10 p.m. Deputies were called to clear cars that were blocking the road. While they were there, shots were fired.
Deputies say a 24 year old was shot in the right hand and a 23 year old was shot in the left thigh. Both are in stable condition at Medical Center Navicent Health.
Deputies say several men fired shots in the Elaine Lucas Senior Center parking lot. They left before deputies could get to them.
