MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, someone in the United States has a stroke every 40 seconds. May is Stroke Awareness Month.

Denise Goings, the Stroke Coordinator for Medical Center Navicent Health, visited Daybreak to tell us what we need to know about strokes.
