3 hospitalized after head-on crash early Sunday on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened just after 1 a.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Three people are in the hospital after a head-on crash early Sunday morning on Pio Nono Avenue.

According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, it happened just after 1 a.m. near Pio Nono’s intersection with Spencer Circle.

Deputies say a Honda was traveling north on Pio Nono when it collided head-on with a vehicle traveling south.

The Honda’s driver and a passenger are listed in critical condition. The second vehicle’s driver is listed in stable condition.

All lanes of Pio Nono Avenue southbound at the intersection of Spencer Circle were shut down during the investigation.
