Man Arrested in Connection With Shooting Of Three People

MACON, Ga -Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection with a shooting that happened in West Macon over the weekend.

James McKay Jr of Macon was arrested Sunday morning and charged with aggravated assault. He did bond out of jail on a $27,000 bond.

Deputies say the shooting happened at the Sunoco Gas Station on Pio Nono Avenue just after 2 a.m. Sunday. Deputies say an argument that began at Overtyme Bar and Grill, also on Pio Nono Avenue, continued at the Sunoco. Three people were shot during the argument, 26 year old Jodeci Jones , 21 years old Katlyn Wiley and 27 year old Ishmael McKinstry. No one else was injured and the three people who were shot were taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Ishmael  McKinstry was released from the hospital. Jodeci Jones is listed in stable condition.  Katlyn Wiley is listed in stable but critical condition.
