Michael causes a lot of damage in Middle Georgia
MACON, Ga- Hurricane Michael caused a lot of damage in Middle Georgia.
A tree is down on Randolph Street in Oglethorpe in Macon County. Another tree was down on Highway 90 near Old Ideal Road. A tree landed on a house at 318 Whitewater Road. A tree landed on a police car on Macon Street, there were no injuries reported. Another tree and power lines are down on Highway 128 at Wadsworth Road in Macon County.

In Macon, power lines are down at the intersection of Vineville and Pierce Avenues. A tree landed on a car and blocked Coleman Avenue and College Street in Macon (pictured). Macon-Bibb Emergency Management Agency is reporting that 11 trees are down, blocking 3 different roads. They didn’t name the streets that were affected.
In Houston County, there are multiple trees down and two landed on homes. A tree is blocking Arena Road at the intersection of Highway 341 South. There’s also a tree down on apartments on the 100 Block of Spring Drive.
In Centerville, a tree is blocking Margie Drive between Gunn Road and Houston Lake Road.
In Perry, a tree landed on a house in the 300 block of Faye Circle and a house in the 1700 block of Kings Chapel Road.
In Byron, multiple tress are down on Boy Scout Road and the power is out.
In Crisp County, there’s damage to multiple structures along with trees and power lines down.
