12 and 13-year-old boys break into Dollar General in Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Surveillance camera showed that three juveniles stole food and other items from the Dollar General on Napier Avenue Thursday night.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the three boys broke a window to get inside the store.
When police officers arrived to the scene, they saw two of the suspects shaking a cash register in the Middle Georgia Rescue Mission parking lot.
When the boys noticed the officers, they ran away. Eventually the police caught them.
The news release said the boys ran away from the Georgia Industrial Children’s Home, where they were living.
Police returned the suspects back to the home.
The boys were 12 and 13-years-old.
