Man hit and killed by car in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after being hit by a car on Emery Hwy. Saturday night.

Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says 50-year-old Russia Little was trying to cross the road just after 10 p.m. A car driven by 17-year-old Dezmond Talton hit Little, pinning him under the car and killing him. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Talton didn’t see Little standing in the road.

No charges have filed. The accident is still being investigated.
