23-year-old critically injured in Shurling Drive shooting
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a 23-year-old man critically injured early Tuesday morning.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a 23-year-old man critically injured early Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported around 3:33 a.m. to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center. Deputies were dispatched to the 2300 block of Shurling Drive after receiving reports of a disabled vehicle that had struck a fire hydrant.
When officers arrived, they found a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities say more information will be released as the case develops.
