17-year old shot twice in robbery attempt in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff deputies are investigating after a teenager says he was shot twice while trying to smoke outside a South Macon apartment complex.

17-year-old Kedrick Young told deputies that he was shot outside the Autumn Chase Apartment on Rocky Creek Road just before 8:30 Monday night.

Young says three men wearing dark colored clothes fired shots after he refused to give them his belongings.

Deputies found Young suffering from gunshot wounds to a leg and an arm.

He was taken to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
