14-year-old arrested after TikTok post involving student photos, Gray police say

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 14-year-old student was arrested after a TikTok post featuring photos of students prompted an investigation, according to the Gray Police Department.

Police said they were notified Monday, September 22, about a TikTok post or slideshow that included several student photos with the song “Murder on My Mind” playing in the background.

Investigators identified the person responsible for the post as a 14-year-old student, according to police.

The student was interviewed and later arrested on a charge of making a terroristic threat or act against a school.

The juvenile was taken to the Macon Youth Development Campus, where police said the student remains in custody.

Gray police said no other people were involved in the alleged threat.
