14 arrested after Middle Georgia drug bust
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Gang Unit, SWAT Team, US Marshal’s Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency, Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office, Jones County Sheriff’s Office, McIntyre Police Department and Bibb County District Attorney’s Office served arrest warrants on 14 people after an investigation showed they were involved in distributing illegal drugs, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The individuals are accused of selling cocaine and marijuana in Bibb, Jones and Wilkinson Counties.
The Bibb County Special Investigations Unit started the investigation in June 2015 after receiving information that 28-year-old Jarvis Gilmore was selling illegal drugs from his east Macon home. Bibb deputies said Javares Simmons was conspiring with Gilmore from Simmons’ north Macon home.
The following people were arrested:
- Jarvis Gilmore, 28, of Macon is charged with sale of cocaine damaging or destroying or secreting property to defraud another, insurance fraud and false report of a crime.
- Lorraine Gilmore, 37, of Macon is charged with use of a communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and sale of cocaine
- Landrous Rainey, 33, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and sale of cocaine
- Everette Simmons, 42, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances, sale of cocaine and probation violation
- Javares Simmons, 36, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and sale of cocaine
- Nicrosia Gibson, 33, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and sale of cocaine
- Shonerique Adams, 39, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
- Tracy Allen-Hall, 46, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
- Jerold Clark, 42, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances, possession of cocaine, insurance fraud, damaging, destroying or secreting property to defraud another and purchase of marijuana
- Geraldmy Porter, 34, of McIntyre is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
- Carol Maddox, 53, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
- Colonel Barnard, 44, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
- Aundrea Maddox, 52, of Macon is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
- Gia Smith, 45, of Haddock is charged with use of communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances and possession of cocaine
