Ralph Stanley Elrod is behind bars in Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The man accused of shooting and killing two peach county sheriff’s deputies,
is out of the hospital, and is now at the Bibb County jail.

Ralph Stanley Elrod is facing two counts of murder, along with several other charges including aggravated assault.

On november 6, Deputy Daryl Smallwood and sergeant Patrick Sondron were responding to a fight between neighbors
near hardison road.

No word how long Elrod will be at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
