11-year-old wins first race at Cochran
COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 11-year-old Parker Martin took home the checkered flag in Saturday’s Junior Enduro Race at Cochran Motor Speedway.
The Ivey native and son of track owners Chris and Joni Martin is one of the reasons this series even exists.
Martin started second and quickly took the lead on the first lap before holding off Ridge McCoy (the winner the last two weeks) and Dillon Nico.
Montana Dudley of Phenix City, Alabama won the Late Model feature race and the $2,000 prize that went with it.
Tyler Sanders won Bomber, Joseph Brown won Sportsman, Kyle Conyer won Super Street and Jason Floyd won Pure Stock.
