10-year-old dies in homemade swing in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 10-year-old boy is dead after police say family members found him tied up in a homemade swing in his backyard.

A news release from the Warner Robins Police Department says the boy was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.

Officers don’t suspect foul play and think it’s an accidental death. The police department, the Warner Robins Fire Department, the Houston County Juvenile Division, and the Department of Family and Consumer Services are investigating the incident.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
