Zodiac Murder Suspect Caught in Columbus

 MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Another murder suspect in the Zodiac lounge shooting was arrested Tuesday while hiding out at a Columbus hotel.

U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended 27-year-old John Michael Hollingshed for his alleged involvement in the death of Jamonni Bland earlier this month. Hollingshed was one of eight suspects accused of being involved in the shooting.

Five of the murder suspects are behind bars, while Jimmy Scott III and Johnifer Denard Barnwell remain on the run from police.

“Through our investigation we learned that Hollingshed was hiding out at a hotel in Columbus,” said Fugitive Task Force Supervisory Inspector John Edgar.

The task force located Hollingshed at the Value Place Hotel on Victory Drive in Columbus. According to Edgar, Holingshed was found in a room with a woman.The murder suspect was arrested without incident. The woman he was with was not arrested. Hollingshed is charged with murder and attempted murder.
