Yummo Yogo Dishes Up a Sweet Treat

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — What’s in a name? At Yummo Yogo it’s eight flavors of frozen yogurt, 40 toppings, and a hundred combinations of smoothies all wrapped up in one location.

“We have the frozen yogurt, we have about 100 different flavors to choose from, eight a time,” said co-owner Rick Umberger.

Umberger enjoys seeing his customers mix and match flavors and toppings to create a new masterpiece each time. In fact, that’s exactly what he did to come up with the Peach Basket smoothie.

Umberger said, “It has mango, peach, pina colada, and strawberry.”

The combination is unbeatable. Selena Taylor stops by religiously, grabbing a smoothie before her workouts has become a part of her daily routine.

Taylor said, “The taste is great…I stick with it…”

Customer Cathy Brooks treats herself once a week.

“I usually get the sorbet or whatever tart they have…usually the cheesecake topping with the tart, if I get the sorbet I leave it plain,” said Brooks.

The froyo is thick and creamy.

“It has less calories for one, it’s better for you…” said Umberger.

You can load up on just frozen yogurt or pile on as many cookies, candies and bobas you can find. The name speaks for itself, it’s Yummo Yogo!

Combine 3 oz. peach, 2 oz. mango, 2 oz. pina colada, and 1 oz. strawberry with 16 oz. of ice in a blender, using Island Oasis drink mix (sold at Yummo Yogo)
