Woman will be featured on the new $10 bill

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Move over President Alexander Hamilton, starting in 2020, there will be a woman on the brand new $10 bill.
 
The lucky lady will not be announced until later this year, but the U.S. Treasury Department will accept ideas from the public through the summer.  There’s just one criteria: the woman cannot be alive and she must fit with the theme democracy.
 
The re-designed paper currency also includes enhanced security features.
