Woman injured in West Macon shooting
MACON, Georgia (41NBC?WMGT) – A Macon woman was shot while walking on Lilly Avenue.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 6:00 a.m., Thursday.
27-year-old Nekita Rhodes was walking with another woman when a man approached her on a bike and shot her in the right leg.
The suspect is described as having black hair, wearing a white shirt, and camouflage shorts.
Rhodes was taken to a local hospital and is listed in good condition.
