Woman Dies in Head-On Collision in Bleckley County

COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman died and a man was injured after a head-on collision Tuesday morning in Bleckley County.

According to the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office, the two-car crash happened on Highway 26 east of Cochran.  One car crossed the center line and hit another other car head-on.

The name of the woman, who was traveling alone, hasn’t been released.

One man in the other vehicle was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
