Woman dead after struck by vehicle during sibling dispute on I-75 in Macon
Deputies responded to a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on I-75 north, near Riverside Drive, on February 16 after 1:40 a.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 28-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate-75 Sunday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on I-75 north, near Riverside Drive, on February 16 after 1:40 a.m.
According to the news release, 25-year-old Ashley Otto was driving northbound on I-75 and pulled over to the left shoulder of the interstate during a sibling dispute. Otto’s sister, 28-year-old Victoria Otto, exited the vehicle and ran across the interstate when she was struck by a vehicle that did not stop.
Ashely Otto was transported to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Victoria Otto was pronounced dead on scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley. Next of kin has been notified.
