Woman arrested for stealing nearly $5,000 from Bragg Jam
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman was arrested Wednesday for taking money from Bragg Jam’s ‘Soap Box Derby’.
According to an incident report from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Kristyn Boothe took $4,589.27 from the business. Boothe, who served on the Bragg Jam board, used the Soap Box Derby credit card for personal use.
Boothe admitted to doing so, then wrote a personal check to Bragg Jam. The check was written on a closed account.
Boothe has been released from a Bibb County Jail on a bond of more than $5,350.
