Woman arrested for shooting a man on Third Street

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an aggravated assault suspect. Juanita Lewis is accused of shooting a man at 1296 Third Street.

According to the incident report, the 57-year-old got out of her pickup truck in front of 45-year-old Robert Jackson’s home Monday afternoon and started yelling about someone messing with her truck. Lewis went up to Jackson and hit him. Jackson reportedly pushed Lewis back.

Then, Lewis went to her truck and got a revolver and shot Jackson in the left leg. Jackson is at The Medical Center, Navicent Health in stable condition.

Lewis is at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Her bond is set at $16,700.
