Woman Arrested For Lying To Police

A Macon woman is arrested for lying to the police.

Wednesday, police arrived at the Sprint Food Store on Anthony Road in response to an apparent snatching incident.

That’s when Jasmine Threatt told police she was robbed of $195.

After being taken to the Detective Bureau, Threatt confessed that the money was lost to several unknown men in a game.

She was charged with one count of false report of a crime and has since been released from the Bibb County jail.
