Woman arrested for burglary, assault after breaking into Macon apartment
According to a news release, deputies arrested a suspect who broke into an apartment on Gray Highway on February 13, while she was still inside the unit.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman was arrested for burglary and assault in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a news release, deputies arrested a suspect who broke into an apartment on Gray Highway on February 13, while she was still inside the unit.
The suspect was identified as Bonnie Spivey. Deputies say that Spivey is believed to be responsible for an additional burglary and assault in the area as well as porch package thefts that occured on February 9.
Spivey was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
Spivey is charged with theft by taking, simple battery, burglary, criminal trespass and cruelty to animals.
