Macon man accused of breaking into Windsor Academy, stealing equipment

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Macon man for burglary on September 11 around 2 p.m. at his home in the 1000 block Alma Drive.

On September 6th and 10th, a male entered Windsor Academy and removed both electronic and sports equipment from the school.

Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators identified the suspect as 22-year-old Kareem Zellner. Authorities say school surveillance video captured Zellner inside the school.

Deputies say they located some of the stolen items when they searched Zellner’s home.

Authorities arrested Zellner without incident and took him to the Bibb Sheriff’s Investigations office for questioning.

The charges

Deputies took Zellner the Bibb County Jail and charged him with (2) counts of Commercial Burglary.

He is being held without bond.
