Willie Lee Parkway Project Cost Warner Robins An Extra $39,000
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Willie Lee Parkway project is costing the city of Warner Robins an extra $39,000.
Council voted to move the money from the 2001 SPLOST Street fund into the Willie Lee Parkway fund.
Mayor Chuck Shaheen says they needed to make a few adjustments to the project including adding a turning lane.
Mayor Shaheen asked Centerville Mayor John Harley to reimburse the City of Warner Robins $5,000 to offset part of the cost. Mayor Harley agreed to bring the proposal to his council.
