Fatal shooting under investigation on Williams Street East in Macon
One man dead and a woman injured in late-night shooting; authorities seek information

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on the 600 block of Williams Street East late Sunday night.
Authorities responded to a call to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 11:01 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies found an unidentified male victim unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones.
Jones identified the victim as 33-year-old Braddricus Hood.
A second victim, a 58-year-old woman, was also found suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local medical facility for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition. No other injuries have been reported.
