Wilkinson Co. School Bus Slides Off Road with 40 on Board

Dozens of students are safe Wednesday night after a Wilkinson County school bus slid off the road.  School Superintendent Dr. Aaron Geter Jr. said the bus made a wide turn on Highway 441 and slid into the ditch with a busload of kids. A news release cited that rainy conditions caused wet roadways.  40 students were transferred to another bus.  There were no injuries.
