Wild With Kyle Kicks Off With 100+ Trips On A Roller Coaster
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After a crazy-filled summer of gathering the craziest stories I could think of, Wild With Kyle kicked off again, for another season of extreme adventures.
Last year’s trips were exhilarating. This year, I wanted to push the limits. In week one, I thought it would be a good idea to ride a roller coaster. All day. Without stopping. So I did.
I took a trip to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, to see if I had what it takes to ride non-stop on a single ride, from open until close of the park. Thanks to the staff at Wild Adventures, they made my desire a reality.
Starting with the opening run at 8:00a.m., I embarked on my mission on the wooden roller coaster known as ‘Cheetah’. Friends, let me tell you, riding a roller coaster non-stop all day is not something for the faint of heart.
I’ll give it away now; I rode 101 times on the Cheetah. I know what you’re thinking, and the answer is ‘No’, I never lost my lunch. But I will tell you, I haven’t been sore like that since my days of high school football.
My thighs had bruises on them from the support bar rubbing against them all day. My eyes were blood shot from the wind and bugs hitting me in the face. My back was killing me, my head was pounding from all the rattling around.
101 times.
I don’t recall ever sleeping so hard in my life that night. My body was so exhausted, I couldn’t finish my dinner that night. My head was bobbing as I was trying to finish my meal.
Was it wild? Absolutely. Is it something I’d do again? In a heartbeat. And this story is just the beginning of getting Wild With Kyle.
