Wild Dogs Attack Livestock and Chase People in Dooly County

In the five years Kathy Walsh has been living in Dooly County, wild dogs were never even a thought that crossed her mind. But in the past three months, they are all she thinks about when she steps outside.

Walsh was raising seven goats and a horse on her six acre plot of land. But wild dogs attacked her goats, killing all of them. What’s more, Kathy says, is it seems the dogs are killing just for the sport of it.

“They like to kill, because they just go from one animal to the next to the next. They’re not starving, they’re not stopping and eating them, they’re just killing,” Walsh says.

Since the animals are gone, the dogs have begun to chase Walsh and her roommate. They have stopped them from getting out of their cars in the middle of the day, and they chase them from the mailbox in the morning.
