Widespread rain expected today

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! Hope your Tuesday is off to a wonderful start! We are once again dealing with patchy fog across middle Georgia. Temperatures are a bit cooler this morning than yesterday morning in the 50s. As we head through the day we are going to see a lot of rain with temperatures in the upper 60s. We could see one to two inches of rain. Temperatures are pretty nice the the 70s for your Thursday with partly cloudy skies. The next rain chance will come Friday into Saturday. This could bring the chance for a few storms, however strength and timing is not know at this time. Another inch to two inches of rain is possible Friday into Saturday. We could be dealing with some river flooding as we enter the weekend. Sunday will be a good day in the 60s. Next week we will be cloudy in the 60s.
