What more to say? Its summertime in the SE

Showers and thunderstorms are starting to fire up in the afternoon heating of the day.  The storms will be moving generally off to the NE over the next few hours, and will be possible until midnight.  The storms could briefly be severe, and the biggest threat will be from winds if that happens.  If not, we are looking at another very hot afternoon with plenty of humidity.  It feels like its going to be another day where it feels like we will be at or above 102-104 degrees.  We do have a heat advisory again until around 8pm.  More chances for storms for Friday, and really the next 7 days, but many locations will not see the afternoon storms.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 90’s going forward through the next 7 days.  Please stay hydrated.  For more weather updated more often follow me on twitter as well.    @wxmanchris
