Wet and rainy Wednesday afternoon ahead
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Oh boy was it a cold start this morning with temperatures in the mid 20s to low 30s. We will remain cold and dry throughout the morning hours. Rain will move in by lunch time and continue through the afternoon. The rain will tapper off around 10pm for our southeastern counties. Tomorrow morning we will wake up with temperatures in the low 30s. Thursday will be much warmer across the area in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine to dry us out from today’s rain. Similar conditions are expected for your Friday although we will be partly cloudy. Rain moves in early Saturday morning and will last until the late afternoon hours. Sunday we will stay dry and mild. Rain will once again begin to move in on Monday night. This will continue into Tuesday when a line of storms will move through. Anywhere from 2-4 inches of rain is expected across the area over the next 7 days.
