MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Touchdown Club has announced its Players of the Week following an action-packed opening week of the high school football season.

The OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week honor went to Westside junior running back Tyliek Flint, who carried the ball 21 times for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the Seminoles’ thrilling 41-34 win over Howard. Flint stepped up in place of last season’s standout back Kadiphius Iverson, helping lead Westside to the comeback victory.

Flint’s teammate, senior defensive lineman Kenneth Hogges, was named Lineman of the Week. Hogges posted 12 tackles, two sacks, five tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and two blocked field goals. His final block set up the scoop-and-score that sealed the win for the Seminoles in a game that saw 51 combined second-half points.

On special teams, Stratford junior kicker George Dunn earned recognition as Special Teams Player of the Week. Dunn went 3-for-4 on kickoffs for touchbacks and was a perfect 7-for-7 on extra points in the Eagles’ 49-17 win over St. Anne-Pacelli.

The Macon Touchdown Club will continue honoring standout performances each week throughout the 2025 season.
