West Macon gas station robbed

The incident happened Monday around 6:00 a.m., at the Citgo Convenience Store located at 1803 Pionono Avenue.

According to a news release, the suspect walked into the store and went behind the counter. He then took cash from the register after fighting with the cashier.

The suspect fired one shot into the ceiling from a pistol before grabbing a second register and fleeing the store.

He was last seen wearing a black cargo pants, a black t-shirt, under a hooded sweatshirt, black shoes and a red bandana covering his face. He’s about 5 feet 3 inches tall.
