MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Here are the three Week 13 Macon Touchdown Club Players of the Week.

The Back of the Week – Steve Robinson – the Senior Southwest QB completed five of seven passes for 108 yards, and a passing touchdown. Robinson also rushed the ball 12 times for 103 yards and a rushing touchdown, as well as a two-point conversion, in the Patriots 20-7 win over East Laurens.

The Linemen of the Week – Rinaldo Callaway – the Southwest Junior Defensive End had 13 tackles, six tackles for a loss, three and a half sacks, one QB hurry, and one pass deflection. Its Callaway’s second trophy of the season so far.

The other Lineman of the Week – Wyatt Thomley – the Senior FPD OL graded out at 94%, and had three pancake blocks, in the Vikings 28-13 playoff win over Strong Rock Christian.

Army Head Coach Jeff Monken stopped by for the first time in two years as the honorary guest speaker, to address the club about his incredible undefeated season at West Point so far this year. The former Georgia Southern Head Coach also stopped to talk to 41NBC about what makes the Macon Touchdown Club so special to him.

“I feel like I’m coming home when I come back to the touchdown club in Macon” said Coach Monken Monday night. “When I became the coach at Georgia Southern in 2010, they invited me to come talk, and I came every year. Then, when I left to go to Army, they asked me to come back. So, I was glad to do that and feel honored, and privileged, to come back and share the story of West Point, and our program with the folks here in Macon.

Coach Monken went on to say, “{I} got a lot of friends here. There’s a lot of Georgia Southern people here in Central Georgia. Seeing old coaches like Coach Hatcher, and I just love coming back, so frankly coming here, and supporting the Methodist Home for Children, and eating Mr. Lonnie’s fried pork chops, there’s not a much better meal than that one. So O’ve been looking forward to this for a couple weeks here knowing this was coming.”
