Weather Forecast for May 30, 2014

Middle Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Pretty similar forecast to yesterday.  Storm flare-ups are expected today, as daytime heating and instability will once again spark some lightning in the area.  Isolated severe weather is possible, although most of the storms will be your typical summer-like fare.  Expect upper 80s once again for the highs and 60s for your lows.

We’re looking at cold air damming to take effect for a day or two next week, meaning cooler air will be trapped in our area around Sunday and Monday.  It’ll simply be cooler than where we are now, so high around 85 or 86 are more likely.  Rain chances also start to decrease early next week, although they look to return by Tuesday or Wednesday.
