Weather Forecast for May 16th, 2014

70s for highs? I’ll take it! After a front moved through and dumped high amounts of rain in the area, high pressure takes over, and sunshine returns.  A trough in the jet stream will keep temperatures on the cool end in the 70s for highs and 40s for low overnight.  Some small waves of moisture look to enter the southeast this weekend, so a helping of showers isn’t out of the question, but as of now, most of us look to remain dry.

With ridging in the jet stream next week, temperatures look to rocket to the 90s by mid-late week next week.
