Weather Forecast for March 31st, 2014

While sunshine will continue for most of the week, we do see a good chance for storms going into the weekend.  Looking at the models, CAPE (convective available potential energy) and wind shear are going to be high, particularly on Saturday.  That means a higher chance for strong to severe storms.  We’ll be monitoring the storms and keeping you updated on the chance for strong/severe storms, but do be aware that the work week looks fantastic.  We’re warming up to the 80s, which is well above the norm for the beginning of April.
