Weather Forecast for June 16, 2014

Middle Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The sunshine this week will help temperatures climb to the 90s.  Cloud cover looks to be in short supply this week, and with the low storm chances, temperatures should have no trouble staying above average in the near future.  Today, we could get pop-up storms, with a small risk for strong to severe storms, but most of us will enjoy abundant sunshine.  The main concerns for any strong to severe weather will be high winds and heavy downpours.  The best way to phrase our storm chances this week would be this: Middle Georgia will get some storms, but they’re not something around which to plan your day.  It’s just that time of the year, folks!

Overnight lows will also get warmer in the upper 60s and low 70s throughout the week.
