Washington County Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting in Tennille
Deputies responded to a call after 1am at Cornbreads Place. The caller said they heard about 25 shots fired.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place on the 700 Block of Matthews Road in Tennille.
Deputies responded to a call after 1am at Cornbreads Place. The caller said they heard about 25 shots fired.
Deputies were told a man was at a home on Irwin Avenue and had been shot. The male victim fled the scene once deputies arrived.
Deputies collected blood samples from the scene, but have yet to find the victim.
The incident is currently under investigation.
