Warner Robins woman has yard sale for fatal car crash victim’s family

Lissa Hurley’s brother, Cody Thigpen, died in a car crash December 2. Hurley held the sale at her home Friday and Saturday, selling various items ranging from toys to clothes.

Her brother left behind a wife and two small children, a six-year-old and a three-year-old.  Hurley says the family needs the money, especially during this holiday season.

“With the season and money being tight for a lot of families, instead of trying to ask for donations this is definitely one thing that is my forte, is having yard sales,” says Hurley.
