Warner Robins Votes to Begin Upgrade on Waste Water Treatment Plant
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Warner Robins City Council voted to move forward with its multimillion dollar waste water treatment plant upgrades Wednesday. Officials have been working with the Haskell Company and approved to spend roughly $27.8 million on the facility.
The city’s current plant hasn’t been upgraded in nearly 30 years. Construction will begin as soon as possible and is estimated to be complete by the end of 2014.
