WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Warner Robins is bringing together community members, local agencies and advocacy groups to take a stand against domestic violence through an event designed to educate, empower and inspire action.
The Domestic Violence Awareness Event, “Stand Together, Save Lives,” will be held October 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Houston Sports Complex, 900 North Houston Road.
The event will feature a one-mile indoor walk, a resource fair connecting attendees to local support services, educational breakout sessions and the Clothesline Project — a visual tribute honoring survivors and remembering those lost to domestic violence.
“This event demonstrates the power of collaboration,” said Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick. “When our community stands united, we send a clear message that violence has no place here—and together, we can save lives.”
The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend, show support for survivors and learn more about available resources in the Warner Robins area.
