Warner Robins Robbery Suspect Shot

An accused armed robber was shot in the back, after police say he shot and took money from a 54-year-old man in Warner Robins.

It happened this morning just before 3 on Rolling Woods Circle. According to a news release from Warner Robins Police, the suspect approached the victim outside his house, then shot and robbed him. The victim then yelled for help, and his son came out of the house and shot the suspect.

The alleged robber then ran off, and was later found getting treatment for the gunshot wound at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

He is charged with Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery. The case is still under investigation.
