Warner Robins Public Works Director Running for Mayor

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Warner Robins Public Works Director Joe Musselwhite has been with the city for 21 years, on Tuesday he announced he’d like a shot at the top seat.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Warner Robins native says he’ll focus on government transparency and making sure Special Local Options Sales Tax funds are put to work for the most important projects.

“We all need to get on the same page and work together and understand our main focus,” Musselwhite said.

Mayor Chuck Shaheen was at Musselwhite’s announcement. He said that he supports his decision, calling Musselwhite a “leader in the community”.
