Warner Robins prepares for Independence Day Celebration

The celebration will be at McConnell-Talbert Stadium which is located at 400 S Davis Dr.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Warner Robins is hosting the 41st Annual Independence Day Celebration on June 29.

The celebration will be at McConnell-Talbert Stadium which is located at 400 S Davis Dr. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the event kicks off at 7 p.m.

Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick says the event is free and open to everyone.

There will be live music from AJ The DJ, Scott Stapp and Jefferson Starship. There will also be more than 25 food trucks and activities for children in the Patriotic Playland.

Mayor Patrick says there will be a shuttle service running from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. that will pickup at the roundabout at Middle Georgia State University.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Fireworks will begin around 10 p.m.
