UPDATE: Man arrested in Warner Robins murder

UPDATE:

Detectives with the Warner Robins Police Department and U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested  24 year old Daniel Maurice Thomas Monday night for the killing of 55 year old Elliot Mizell.

Thomas was arrested at a home on the 700 block of Hidden Creek Circle. The victim sustained a single gunshot wound. Authorities say Mizell and Thomas were acquaintances. Thomas is charged with Felony Burglary, Felony Murder, and Felony Aggravated Assault.

More charges may be possible.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Detectives with the Warner Robins Police Department are investigating a homicide that happened at a residence on Villa North Court on Saturday.

Officers responded to the scene just before 9:00 AM and found the victim already dead.

At this time they are not releasing much information regarding the case, but they have identified the victim as 55 year old Elliot Mizell.
