Warner Robins police host 5K Cancer Run

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins police department held a 5K Saturday to raise money for one of their own.

Officer Pratt Martin is a 20-year law enforcement veteran who is fighting stage four kidney cancer.

It cost $25 to $35 to enter the race, and all of the money went toward Martin’s medical bills.

Research shows about half of all people with kidney cancer live ten years after being diagnosed.
